Mr. Vega has over 25 years of experience in the practice of civil litigation and admiralty, maritime and transportation law, including areas such as health law, medical malpractice, labor and employment law, personal injury, contracts, Jones Act claims, marine cargo claims, passenger personal injury claims and proceedings before state and federal administrative agencies.

While at the University of Puerto Rico Law School, he was co-editor of the Letras Journal and was also a research assistant for Professor Jaime Granados-Peña of the University of Puerto Rico in the area of Criminal Law and Psychiatry.

Mr. Vega is a speaker on litigation techniques and medical malpractice in seminars and conferences attended by attorneys, physicians and other health care professionals.
