Angela joined the firm as an associate in 2019 and focuses her practice on labor and employment law, corporate matters, and maritime matters.
She completed an international dual degree program, obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and the Degree in Law from the University of Barcelona. As a language enthusiast, she worked hard to learn Catalan during her time in Barcelona. In San Juan, Angela was an active member of the Federal Bar Student Chapter and a member of the Mediation Legal Clinic, through which she handled complex family law cases and participated in community outreach programs.
Angela has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Modern Languages from Duquesne University, where she focused her studies in European Union relations and Italian and French Languages. She was a Washington Internship Institute's Foreign Policy Scholar, during which time she interned at INTERPOL Washington in D.C. She was also chosen to participate in the international relations program at the Domenico Tardini Foundation in Rome, Italy. Afterward, she completed a Master of Arts in Linguistics and graduate studies in Translation. As a linguist, she focused her research on theoretical syntax.
Angela is also a Puerto Rico Supreme Court Certified Mediator and a Notary Public.
